INDEX / 03DESCRIPTION

Gamification of warehouse work through Bluetooth zones. Workers carry phones; BLE beacons around the warehouse log movement in the background. Opening the app on break shows what happened: fights with colleagues, XP earned, loot chests found. No synchronisation. No distraction from work. Everything asynchronous.

Zones map to reality. The trash zone is the PvP arena. The kitchen is bank + tavern (HP restore). Shelves are dungeon (hourly loot chance). Loading dock is a portal (driver bonuses). Office is guild HQ (start and end of shift).

Guilds match real roles. Loaders are Warriors. Forklift drivers are Paladins. Stockkeepers are Mages. Managers are Merchants. Every week the four guilds are ranked on a shared leaderboard — total XP, loot hauled out of shelf-zone chests, PvP wins in the trash zone, distance covered under the wrong colour.

Tech: iBeacon BLE, Android app with a foreground service, Python/FastAPI server, SQLite, hourly event resolution. Participation voluntary.

The game reads the day from the beacons. Each zone entry becomes an event in the log; enough time in a hostile zone rolls for a fight, enough time near a shelf zone rolls for a loot chest, crossing between zones under the wrong colour marks you as prey. The server resolves the whole log on an hourly tick and rolls it up into a session summary — XP earned, items dropped, PvP outcomes, guild-leaderboard delta. The phone stays silent through the shift; the story shows up on break.
